January 10,11,12 +13   9pm-1am PST

featuring resident laboratory staff:

Sunflowrfish, Kevlar, Spukkin Faceship, Donna Wood, Uxe-Mede, Greenjon, the Magi

Located on the outskirts of North America's largest seasonal nomad encampment in the desert of southern California, the Tank is a product of 100's of hours of labor by a dozen volunteers. The centerpiece of the annual S.A.L.T. creative retreat, this re-appropriated structure provides a unique acoustic and visual environment for the realization of collaborative works. Featuring an observation platform with commanding views of the surrounding desert landscape and the nearby Salton Sea as well as the west coast's largest reverb chamber, the Tank itself is a work in progress and an inspiring artspace.
